Lucy Martin grew up in Hawaii, on the island of Maui, back when that island was still sleepy and little-known. She worked at Hawaii Public Radio in Honolulu for many years before moving to the Ottawa region in 1999. She now holds dual US/Canadian citizenship and has begun a new career as a free-lance writer/producer.
